History of Pete's Pizza

Pete's was originally called Cranes Pizza when it opened its doors in 1985 in the West Park Mall in West Yellowstone, Montana. The restaurant relocated to its current location next door in 1991 and pastas were added to the menu. In 1992, the Peterson family purchased and re-opened under the current name, Pete's Rocky Mountain Pizza and Pasta. Then in 2008 the Whitman family purchased Pete’s, and created the current logo.
Since 2017 Pete's Rocky Mountain Pizza and Pasta has been locally owned and operated by Jeff and Karen McBirnie. Jeff grew up in West Yellowstone, and started working at Pete's in the summer of 1993 as a fill-in busser for a friend. Jeff ended up working at Pete's all through high school until he graduated. Upon graduation Jeff left West Yellowstone to pursue his career in Music education, where he successfully taught high school band for 13 years, in Washington and Montana before returning to West Yellowstone to own and operate the restaurant. Pete’s Pizza family welcomes your family, when you’re dining with us it is our goal for you to feel at home. Pete's Rocky Mountain Pizza and Pasta in West Yellowstone stands the test of time with quality and integrity. Our recipes have not changed in over 31 years providing you with the same great taste time and time again. |
